Bitty Quilts & Crocheted Rug

Tiny hand stitched quilt from Karin‏~
This precious little quilt (13"x15") is so detailed. I'm so honored that she made
it for me. Not signed...Karin, you need to do that on your creations.

Made from 100 yr old men's kimonos by a well known Japanese quilter who was
a friend of mothers. It's 15"x 20". Fabrics are coarse, more like a hand woven muslin
texture. Feels like cotton, but I can't be sure. If I find her address, I'll mail her and
ask for more details.

Color is not right..it's more of a dark burgandy than pink/red. 4ft x 6 ft. I've been trying
to be really good, but for $3, I couldn't pass it up. It's made of cotton, so is lightweight.
It seems to buckle in the middle, but if I walk on it, it smoothes out. Someone spent
a lot of time making and it was donated to Salvation Army.

I love those quilts. They're great. The rug would be amazing in a different color.
